Great Places to Visit

I have lived in Wichita since 1987.  Coming from California, I had no idea what to expect, but what I found amazed me.  Plan to take advantage of all you can do here.  For example:

Check out all the museums.  Each has special events throughout the year.  Each is a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Botanica - Beautiful.  My favorite is the Butterfly House.

Exploration Place - Who said learning wasn't fun?

Great Plains Nature Center - Bring a child, a fishing pole, and take time to check out the catch-and-release pond to the west.

Kansas Aviation Museum - Wonderful way to explore the early days of aviation.

Museum of World Treasures Everything from a real T-Rex to an Egyptian mummy

Old Cowtown Museum - Take a step back in history.

Sedgwick County Zoo - One of the best in the country.
